HOPE LODGE

In 2010, the Charleston Pythian Family made sizable donations to Hope Lodge. The money will be used to buy neccesary supplies. Hope Lodge is part of the American Cancer Society.

Hope Lodge is a "home away from home" made available at no cost to adult patients undergoing active outpatient treatment for cancer. The comfortable facilities along with dedicated staff and volunteers, provide an emotionally supportive environment for patients and and their loved ones.

The Charleston Pythian Family is proud to support Hope Lodge as well as other projects of the American Cancer Society.

We will also be asking those who can to supply items as well. For more info contact Brother Jim Seward.

American Cancer Society Relay For Life

Stonewall-Jasper Lodge, Sinbad Temple and Elizabeth Temple once again participated in the Relay for Life sponsored by the American Cancer Society. This year's theme ewas Carnival!. Knights, Sisters, Junior Order and DOKKs participated. The event was held in April. Almost double the projected goal was raised! A splendid success!

Stonewall-Jasper Lodge #6 voted to donate $250.00 for Relay for Life. Both Stingrays Chapter #25(Junior Order) and Sinbad Temple #96 (DOKK) donated $50.00 each as well.

Donations!

At the meeting in December 2010, Stonewall-Jasper Lodge #6 made donations to the Masonic Service Association, which will be used to provide needed personal items to the veterans at the Veterans Hospital and the Chris James Kidney Transplant Fund.

In early December 2010 we concluded our Wheels for Santa Drive. The Lodge donated over 60 bikes to the Toys for Tots! We thank the Brothers (Stonewall-Jasper #6 and Sinbad Temple #96) and the Sisters (Elizabeth Temple #2) for all thier generousity and efforts! An Special Hats Off to Past Grand Chancellor Clarence Kuykendall for spearheading the drive once again!!!~~~~

WE ASK YOU TO SUPPORT THE 2011 WHEELS FOR SANTA DRIVE..

So start buying those bikes, rollerblades, skateboards and anything else on wheels! And without wheels too! Bring a small Toy to each meeting in 2011 for the Wheels for Santa/Toys for Tots drive!
